Alice Cooper

Solid Rock President and co-founder Alice Cooper is the original shock rocker. His stage shows feature guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls. Drawing from horror movies, vaudeville and garage rock, He has pioneered a theatrically gory brand of heavy metal, designed to shock and entertain.

Alice’s career hasn’t been limited to the stage; since 2004 he has hosted Night’s with Alice Cooper, a syndicated radio show broadcast on over 100 radio stations in the US and Canada, and available in the UK, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Denmark, Sweden and New Zealand. His film credits include Wayne’s World, Freddie’s Dead: The Final Nightmare, Monster Dog, Scream and Dark Shadows. His television credits include That 70′s Show, Bart Simpson’s A Treehouse of Horrors and Monk.

Alice Cooper LOVES golf, has participated in a number of Pro-Am competitions, and plays the game six days a week with a handicap between 4 & 6. In an interview with VH1, friend and fellow golfer, Pat Boone said that Cooper was “this close to being a pro.”

Although Cooper has an illustrious career on and off stage, his proudest accomplishments and greatest loves are his wife, Sheryl, whom he married in 1976 and their three children. And let’s not forget his dedication to Solid Rock. As Alice puts it, “rock and roll needs to give back a little.”
