I am getting ready to go out on tour with Rob Zombie. For my friends in Canada, come out and see the show starting on April 26th. Before I head out though, there are some things we are planning that we want you to be a part of.
I am very excited to annouce that our Dance Programs will begin this summer!! See below for more info about our new partnership with Neighborhood Ministries.
Coming in June, our Classic 100 Hole Golf Fundraiser is designed to be fast, simple, and a great way for you to help Solid Rock raise funds. With a limit of 40 golfers/participants, each golfer has their own support sponsor group. Each golfer will raise a minimum of $2500. I will play 100 holes and need your sponsorship of $1, $2, or $5 per hole. Please say you will sponsor me. You can send a check to the Solid Rock office or you can use a credit card by calling Solid Rock. Thank you for supporting me in this 100 hole challenge.
Pictured above is the last group of fantastic supporters that participated in the 2008 Classic 100 Golf Event. This group helped to raise over $50,000. Our Goal for the 2010 Classic 100 is $100,000. This event will be held in June.
NEIGHBORHOOD MINISTRIES - Neighborhood Ministries offers a variety of programs geared towards teens in need. We are very excited to be able to partner with Neighborhood Ministries to offer programs designed for The Rock Teen Center. Dance and music will be the focus to start, but as we grow we will add additional options for the teens to choose from. We are looking for qualified volunteers who can teach dance and guitar. Summer session will be two weeks long starting on June 28th. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 to 3:30 with classes being one hour in length. Location is 19th Avenue and Van Buren. Qualified candidates will be interviewed and auditioned. 2010 CHRISTMAS PUDDING WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2010. HAVE YOU ATTENDED CHRISTMAS PUDDING IN THE PAST? 2010 will mark the 10th Anniversary for Christmas Pudding. PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING - Do you know a teen band or soloist that would like to compete for a chance to be on stage with Alice at Christmas Pudding 2010, performing in front of 4,000 guests. Applications for the 2010 Proof is in the Pudding contest will be available in September. More details to come....
